My first blog

I’ve been for the most part dissatisfied with the social networking websites I’ve held accounts with. The extent of my Facebook activity is getting information on events, joining fan pages as if collecting badges, and and for the most part getting frustrated with the K-Hole effect of the types of social activity conducted on them. I know now that there are too many things in the world to know or experience to spend any more of my time dealing with the mind numbing implications of my using facebook. Some news my friends share just doesn’t need to be delivered to my inbox daily or put on a news feed. I’ve always had a problem with this sort of existence validation that goes on and I’d feel much more comfortable if my address book stopped shouting at me.

With that being said, the idea of creating a blog has always seemed a bit daunting to me. There are no farmville applications, quizzes to fill out, or anything else to cover up a lack of creativity(except this really cool penguin books theme). For the most part it’s up to me to create or bring in what I want you to see. It’ll be sparse for a while, but I have an idea of how to use this new space stewing in my dome. Eventually I will post some of my recordings, drawings, photographs, writings, and whatevers and lagniappe to fill in the cracks.

There’s not much time for me to do this today, but I’ll be getting to it soon. Bye bye for now. It’s music time.

I’ll leave you with some music to feel by in the mean time:
